Craft & Culture Ledger II Release Party

Huge thanks to everyone that came out Monday night for our Ledger II release at Cafe Pettirosso in Seattle. It’s such a good feeling to finally share this issue with you all and begin distribution around the world. We’re so grateful for the friends, collaborators and community that came out and helped us celebrate. Fiona Pepe, who shot the cover and many of the photos inside, was home from New York and co-hosted with us. Our friend Sarah Lovrien captured the night beautifully. My only regret is not turning the camera on her for a few pics. You might have recognized her as the model from our Darker My Love look book featuring Hopeless Lingerie.

Seattle distribution has begun! You can pick up your free copy of Ledger II at Cafe Pettirosso and Cafe Vita on Capitol Hill. Many, many more locations to come!

Áróra is a designer from Reykjavik, Iceland who creates decorative collars and shoulder pieces with a great eye and fantastic craftsmanship. Her pieces look like part of the landscape.

Bibi Chemnitz is a Nordic line I had the opportunity to see at the Nordic Heritage Museum fashion exhibit. It is born of a collaboration between Greenlandic Bibi Chemnitz and Danish DAVID RØGILDS. The effect is tradition and street style playing together in bold, rounded silhouettes for men and women.

One thing to love about this line is that they use their workspace, INUIT-BIBI CHEMNITZ to host young talent in music, fashion and the arts.
