Our main squeeze, model Meredith Adelaide is very familiar with the pieces at Craft & Culture. At one time or another she’s worn most of them. You may recognize her from our look book Sheer Society, many of the product shots on the site as well as the cover and main editorial of Ledger Magazine II photographed by Fiona Pepe. Not too shabby. Meredith is one of our favorite personalities and looks. The brainy Portland gal plays in a rad band, has appeared on Portlandia and, of course, gives good face. We caught up with Mer to find out her very favorite pieces on Craft & Culture.

Meredith's Picks (1)Clockwise from top left: Ursa Minor Eshe Blouse, Fathom & Form Diamond Cluster Necklace, Fathom & Form Arrowhead Earrings, Cute & Broke Black Dress with Sheer, Marmod8 Skull Ring, Jessie Harris Thick Band Crystal Ring, Helicopter’s The Player Dress, Fathom & Form Diamond Ring, Fathom & Form Coffin Ring.

A few favorite styles have just come back around and you’re the first to know!

Fail jewelry is made by Christine Fail in Austin, Texas where she also runs her own beautifully curated retail space called Schatzelein. Christine is a master metalsmith who creates each piece with an anvil and hammer. New pieces from her latest collection are also coming soon – think labradorite.

Elaine Ho is a jeweler out of Montreal who has collaborate with some of our favorite artists including Audrey Cantwell of Ovate. She brings the magic to the everyday in wearable but undeniably extraordinary pieces. Enter the Antler Earring in sterling silver. It can be worn both on the bottom of the ear and create a cuff-like casing around the ear’s outer edge OR up on the cartilage. Limited quantity. Only $70. Also – make sure you get your one of a kind two finger quartz ring before they’re gone!

And then, of course, one of our all-time favorite pieces from one of our all-time favorite artists, the Valhalla Hooded Sweatshirt by Ovate is back in stock. Oversized hood, long sleeves and the perfect drape. Join the cult and never look back. Photo of Audrey by Yuli Sato.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on Bianco Artist Management here in Seattle as they represent many of our good friends and favorite talents. One such artist is French – Senegalese photographer Delphine Diallo whose images explore of fashion and tradition with mesmerizing tact. Incredible, no?DD2DD20DD21DD23DD24DD25DD27DD28DD32DD34DD43

Craft & Culture’s newest look book is here! Sheer Society features the sexy S/S collection by Ovate and is paired with amazing, sharp jewels from Elaine Ho, Marmod8 and Isobel & Ezra. The shoot with our girl Meredith was pure magic and we’re so thrilled with all the newness up on C&C! Also – the best hoodies in the world are back in stock here!

For Ledger Magazine II, we looked to our global muses for inspiration. One of the people we reached out to was Stella Rose Saint Clair, a former Seattleite currently living (and taking names) in New York. Stella keeps a smart, fabulous online and offline presence and I wanted to find a photographer to capture her intelligence and private world. Elisabet Davids came to mind because of the stunning look book and editorial work she does with Kria, an Icelandic jewelry line we carry on C&C. The result of this meeting of minds speaks for itself. Here’s a sneak peek of the shoot we published in Ledger. You can order yours online here and read the full interview with Stella.

Ledger Issue II by Craft & Culture is hot off the press! This issue is a love letter to independent designers, makers, movers, shakers and admirers of all kinds. What we mean to say is that we want to give a platform for people and products that live outside of the mainstream. The creation of independent fashion is nothing new but we believe it should be fiercely protected (and widely celebrated).

Features in this issue include a full editorial by the brilliant Fiona Pepe showcasing Craft & Culture’s latest jewelry and apparel, an interview with Gold Coast Trading designer Emeka Alams, a day spent with female drag queen Stella Rose Saint Clair photographed by Elisabet Davids and an exclusive photo shoot with rising indie model Hattie Watson plus designer exclusives and trend forecasts.

SEATTLEITES! Come grab your free copy and hang with collaborators, designers, featured artists and new faces at Cafe Pettirosso on Capitol Hill from 7-10 PM on March 18th. Co-hosted by the incomparable Fiona Pepe. Full bar and good times.

Full event details here.

Our full list of free distribution sites across the world will be made available in the next week. You will also be able to order Ledger II at http://www.craftandculture.com for $1.99 + shipping and it is included for free with all purchases.
